We provide specialised support services to people living with mental health and disability. Support Studio engages with young people and adults, supporting them to turn their goals into outcomes. At Support Studio, we are passionate about supporting people with multiple and complex needs. This includes people living with challenging behaviours, complex mental health, addiction, homelessness, and those with experience of the out-of-home care and justice systems. Our approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centred. Which means we aim to understand the people we support and their difficult experiences, work with them to build on their skills, and to always ensure that decisions are made together.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
