Just wanted to leave a compliment comment about Viki Wang (Behavioural Specialist) who works in the Melbourne Office. She has taken on my son (with all his challenges) who has Autism in the last few months and she has been so "marvellous and brilliant" in her efforts in wanting to do the best for my son. My son has now moved out of home and the dedication, care and effort that Viki has shown to make it a success cannot be faulted. I am so happy I have her on board and look forward to continuing working with her for the better of my son. Apart from her care and dedication she is so easy to talk to which helps me "mum" so much.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

To learn more visit https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/am-i-eligible

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
