I have been working at cosy home care for the past 2 years. I can say with full honesty that they became a family to me! They are always there to assist both the employees and the client. They’re very fair when providing shifts for employees and will work hard to find all the assistance the clients require. It was a pleasure meeting the employees of cosy home care and working with wonderful clients who have taught me how to be strong as an individual.

I’ve been a client of there’s for several months, the lack of communication is disappointing. I’ve had a gardener out twice in several months instead of once a fortnight and rubbish has been left on my driveway not collected at all as arranged by the company. The only reason I stick with the company is because our SW is good. Would definitely not recommend this company.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
