Participants are not just a number to us. At ACASS, we strongly believe in treating each person with dignity and respect, ensuring they have a safe and understanding environment. Our mission is to facilitate and enhance the skills of individuals to achieve their full potential for success in any aspect of their life. We achieve this by building their capacity to allow them to become more autonomous and independent. We pride ourselves on offering a superior service to our participants via our customer-focused approach, which enables us to empower our participants to achieve success in any way they see fit. All of our supports are tailored to your needs with the provision that our services are contributing to your goals and aspirations. We encourage and promote our participants to take complete control of their NDIS plan's and make all choices regarding their supports and services. We offer a range of services that include the following: - One to One support - Social groups for all ages - School holiday program - Gardening and home maintenance - Adult day programs - Counselling - Camps We have an amazing, sensory friendly space located in Melton.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
