Tt’s is impossible so express how much I love Xavier and the staff there, my almost 3 year old daughter has been seeing staff at Xavier since January when my daughter first attended she could not walk and could only say a couple things, now she not only walks but can run! And she is now saying more words but also has a real understanding of those words. The staff at Xavier show genuine love and care for my daughter and she loves them and truly enjoys her time with her physio and speech therapist while learning new skills. Xavier also provided a lot of help so we could access the NDIS and helped me wade through all the paperwork that was needed. Overall Xavier has been a great support to not only to my daughter but myself as well.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
