Ratings & Reviews
Disability Trust are good. I have workers through them – some are great, some are not so good. I'm happy with them. They fill all my shifts. They have 24 hr help. I really like that about them.
I do my book and I do art and woodwork and sanding… but I love cooking best. They help me when I need it. They're very nice staff & very friendly. We have a wii we get to play on too, which is the best – except for when the remote batteries are flat. - HandySteve
I started in a respite place before, but this is closer to home. Sometimes I'm not interested in what others are doing. I brought my own things in to do though & got some help with making them. I like seeing the staff, they help me with my dressing.
On Wednesday we do outdoor sports, I like kicking the football. Its just fun.
I've been coming here for a couple of years now. I come 5 days a week. We go bowling, movies and I like all the programs here. I like everybody here. I feel happy when I come here.
I did not use their services as they sent me a service agreement with no pricing on it, and no description of the services they were going to provide me. I filled out all these forms to use their services, and when I got the service agreement – none of this was reflected. I had to call to find out how much it was going to cost me. If it was agency managed and had have signed this – I would have had no idea.
When I first started using this service I was able to get away for a few nights respite, then they transformed the respite home into a group home so that all stopped, now I get taken out every week for 3 hours, biggest problem they keep changing support worker or one is not available, I think the Trust are a good organisation but tighter management controls are needed.
My son has been involved in the White Knights soccer team for about five years. He has made some great friends. The staff are friendly and caring.
