About

RoboFit is an exercise and physical therapy centre combining neuroscience, clinical expertise, and advanced assistive technology to help people achieve meaningful improvements in movement, strength, and independence. We use a neuro-controlled exoskeleton called HAL (Hybrid Assistive Limb) alongside Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology to deliver personalised, goal-based therapy for people with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Our focus is improving strength, balance, coordination, and safe daily movement, while supporting independence and quality of life. Our neuro-controlled exoskeletons (HAL) may be used for single or lower limb training to assist movement and support functional recovery. HAL can be used to remap neural pathways and allow the wearer to achieve what was previously unthinkable. This is due to the devices driving neuroplasticity, by focusing on a neuro feedback loop provided by connecting to the neuro controlled exoskeleton. We support people with conditions including stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, MS, Parkinson’s disease, CP, FND, and other complex neurological or physical therapy needs. RoboFit has locations in North Wollongong, Sydney, Parramatta (NSW), Clayton (Melbourne), and Shailer Park (Brisbane), with continued growth underway. We also support clients who travel interstate for intensive programs. Contact hello@robofit.com.au

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
