Humble Spirit OT is a mobile occupational therapy service based in Sydney, dedicated to supporting NDIS participants to build independence, confidence, and quality of life through personalised, goal-driven assessment and support. We specialise in delivering high-quality Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), Assistive Technology (AT) assessments, and Home Modification assessments for both new and existing NDIS participants. Our clients include people with psychosocial disabilities, autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental or neurological conditions. Our approach is practical, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual. We focus on understanding the person, their environment, and their goals — ensuring that our reports not only meet NDIS criteria but also support meaningful, achievable outcomes. With a strong understanding of the NDIS and its evolving processes, we pride ourselves on producing clear, evidence-based reports with fast turnaround times and open communication with support teams. Humble Spirit OT was created to fill the gap between clinical expertise and real-life support. We work collaboratively with participants, families, support coordinators, and allied health teams to deliver services that are professional, responsive, and person-centred.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
