Expert Support Coordination and Disability Services (ESCDS) is a Registered NDIS Service Provider and supports people with a disability, their families and carers. We empower people of all abilities to live independently and with dignity, with respect for their rights, goals and aspirations. ESCDS provides support coordination and disability supports by highly experienced support workers. We have early childhood specialist and staff with education backgrounds to further support young children. We provide School Leavers Employment Supports for teenagers that no longer attend school. Our Support Coordinators, well-credentialed in Social Work and experienced in aiding individuals with disabilities and their families, collaborate with all participants. We place special emphasis on those needing extensive support to fully optimize their NDIS plan. Our overarching objective is to assist you in maximizing your options, enhancing your self-sufficiency in managing supports, and ensuring that NDIS services align with your long-term aspirations.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
