School Leavers Employment Supports, SLES are delivered across Melbourne and Victoria by mentors who are not just experienced but also have a strong passion in the industry. Elevate You Australia has a clear understanding of what it is that brings success to people in their pursuit for independent life and work. This is something that will be transferred to each participant throughout their engagement with our service, as our main goal is not just to bring immediate, confidence and readiness for life and employment but for you to have the capacity to continue to develop and grow independently once our service is completed. Long term gains are greater and more valuable than short term success. Our team at Elevate You Australia are fluent in Auslan and have extensive training and qualifications across varying different disability sectors, such as Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Autism, Down Syndrome, intellectual disabilities and mental health. The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
