Connect2Care was founded by health professionals with a deep understanding of the health and disability sector and a passion for making a difference. The business was specifically designed to meet the needs of those living with disability in our community. As a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Provider we offer Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Psychology.

We strive to make navigating the NDIS a positive experience for our participants with experts on hand to assist with the process. Connect2Care believes in high quality and evidence-based therapy that has a real impact on our participants, their families and significant others. Our service is predominately mobile with Telehealth available and our therapists have extensive experience working in homes, schools and other community-based settings.

I'm happy with the service. Everything is going to plan. The OT people are amazing, are really understanding and work around my hours. They have really good communication and I'm really happy with them.

I'd love for them to keep this great communication.

However, I am am disappointed with the Speech Pathology service. They didn't look at the available hours I had listed in my application and offered me hours I wasn't available.

To give them five stars I'd like them to be more understanding about my availability and read the notes I put in my application.

I actually removed myself from their waiting list. I was advised they had a speech therapist for my son, and they said it would be 3 weeks. Three weeks turned into 6 months. And every time I contacted them, It kept being pushed back.

I specified that my son could not use telehealth when I signed up. I said specifically that he needed face to face, to which they said they had someone for me. Then the tune changed, after I'd already signed up, and they said unless we used telehealth we would have to wait more time for a provider.

I would like them to be realistic with time frames because she specifically said she'd have someone in 3 weeks. I just wanted honesty and realistic expectations from them. In the end I rang up begging my old speech therapist asking if they had anyone for my son.

After I had sent them telling them to remove me from the waiting lists, they sent

another

email saying I would be another six months and asking if I'd considered telehealth. Even though I kept repeating to be removed from their database, I continued to receive marketing. It was not a good fit.

The biggest problem was that they didn't actually have people who could service the specific days I said I needed. The were not honest about that.

They did try with the communication. They at least did tell me there was a waiting list, so that's why I'm giving them two stars.
