About

Bright Journey Care Solutions is a registered NDIS provider supporting participants across Melbourne, South East Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Our organisation was built around a simple belief: disability support should feel personal, dependable and genuinely connected to the life each participant wants to lead. Our experienced team brings together knowledge from disability services, complex care, mental health, community support and participant intake. We support people with physical, cognitive and psychosocial disabilities, autism, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury and complex health or personal-care needs. Our services include Supported Independent Living (SIL), supports delivered within SDA, personal care, in-home assistance, community participation, capacity building and hospital-to-home transitions. We take the time to understand each participant’s goals, routines, communication preferences, culture, interests and support needs before commencing services. Where possible, we thoughtfully match participants with workers based on personality, experience and shared interests, not simply availability. We welcome participants, families, support coordinators, recovery coaches, allied health professionals and hospital teams to contact us for an open and obligation-free conversation, because we believe every participant deserves a Bright Journey.

Your questions, answered

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
