About

Welcome to Alpha Lifecare Alpha Lifecare has been helping Australians live healthier, more comfortable and more independent lives since we started selling walking sticks out of our founder’s garage in Western Sydney in 1981. Since then, we’ve remodelled aged care and hospital facilities, helped thousands of Australians on their road to recovery, and enabled healthcare professionals to provide vital care to those in need. We have built a network of best-of-breed product suppliers from around the world including developing our own product ranges when we can’t find what will work for our clients. Our founder John Anderson is seen as a pioneer in the Australian healthcare equipment space and alongside the team of people who deliver on that vision he continues to be driven to innovate, to seek and develop new products and solutions for the sector across his portfolio of businesses. Our national reach and global network allow us to provide Australians with a more extensive range of medical and healthcare equipment, service, advice and support. Alpha Lifecare has offices and warehouses located in Sydney, Newcastle, Griffiths, Launceston, Melbourne, and Brisbane. We also have showrooms in Sydney (Silverwater) and Newcastle (Boolaroo), which are available for client visits by appointment. We are pleased to offer a 7 Day Free Trial for most of our products, and we also provide a Hire to Buy option for 12 months to assist those experiencing financial difficulties, such as Home Care situations. The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

To learn more visit https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/am-i-eligible

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
