About

Allara Support Services is an innovative and all-embracing disability support agency that provides Supported Independent Living (SIL), with the goal of supporting our participants to live life on their own terms, with the support they need to make that happen. SIL is accommodation provided by Allara: a comfortable, completely accessible and beautifully appointed home with a carer on site to help our participants with things like making meals, personal care, medical assistance, social engagement and so much more. Our team collectively lives and breathes the ideology that people living with disabilities deserve more than just feeling like a number or a problem to solve. We are a provider that treats everyone with care, respect and compassion, and are passionate about supporting our participants in growing and finding their independence again; allowing them to live with autonomy and make their own choices. We aim to be the support service that takes more time than any other to get to know our participants; is the most dedicated to finding the support worker who’s perfectly suited to their needs, and can support them in living their absolute best life.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
