Vida Support & Drive provides personalised one-to-one support and transport services across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. Our services include NDIS transport, community access and social participation, individual support, transport to medical and hospital appointments, non-emergency medical transport, airport transfers, shopping, errands, work and education transport, and support for social and recreational activities. Vida is different from a large provider. We focus on building genuine, trusted relationships with the people we support. Whenever possible, participants have the same familiar support worker and driver, travelling in the same clean and comfortable vehicle. This consistency allows us to get to know each participant’s routine, preferences, communication style and individual support needs. Our goal is to make every journey and every support session feel safe, comfortable, reliable and personal — whether it’s attending an appointment, accessing the community, going shopping, visiting family, getting to work or simply getting out and enjoying the day. The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
