About

Talkiplay is an interactive speech therapy tool that helps children learn. We are dedicated to helping you better understand your child with our best tool for speech and language learning. TalkiPlay allows young children to improve their speech, communication and language skills. Whether you're waiting for a diagnosis or needing extra support between therapy sessions, our TalkiPlay Starter Kit is ideal for children with language delay, autism or social anxieties. With TalkiPlay, children can get the support they need with interactive responses that will help them to achieve their speech therapy goals. From learning new words to crafting new sentences, take your child’s language journey to the next level with TalkiPlay. Managing a language delay in your child can seem overwhelming, but it’s important to remember that your experience is not uncommon — 1 in 5 children experience some form of language delay. Frustration and confusion are common indicators of a language issue. However, tantrums, refusals, lacking friends, anxiety and challenging behaviour (e.g. hitting, biting, etc) often come from a lack of language skills. TalkiPlay boosts children's speech and language skills. It feels like a toy, but in reality, it is a research backed method that entices your child to practice their speech development. It is specially designed to increase the amount of words your child focuses on and hears. This improves your child’s talking skills and helps their brain develop. TalkiPlay is a small but mighty communication support tool that can help your child develop their confidence and overcome speech delays. TalkiPlay comes highly recommended by speech pathologists and happy parents across the country who have witnessed the benefits of this hand-held therapy tool.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
