‘Speaking Therapy’ is a team of Speech Pathologists and Special Educators and disability support workers who are passionate and committed to improving the lives of individuals with a Speech or Language disability. We service individuals with a range of needs, including people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, and people with Autism or other developmental disabilities. Our therapists have extensive experience in a range of different areas of therapy including articulation difficulties, dysarthria, speech delays, dyspraxia, swallowing, receptive and expressive language, voice and stuttering difficulties. We are also experienced working with patients who have cochlear implants, hearing aids, and electrolarynx, Auslan Sign language and the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Our Disability Support Workers are passionate about giving our clients a voice and are trained in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) should they have communication difficulties. We are the founders of Visuals2Go app (AAC app), so we can support clients who are currently using the app for communication and learning purposes.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
