Our NDIS support workers, who we call Social Carers, can help you gain independence, participate in the community, and enjoy life through activities like: - meal preparation and groceries - arts & craft - help with household tasks - health & wellbeing - transportation - buddy for social events Our hourly rates are 16% below the NDIS price guide for 1:1 social support, with no added fees. Whether you're an NDIS participant, have an Aged Care package or are paying privately, we'll help you get the most out of your budget. I have been working off this platform for nearly a year now and have no issues with them they are always easy to contact especially via email and they get straight back to you. Pay is always on time.

I used Home Care Heros a couple of times for my son but I found it harder to pay bills and select staff than other platforms out there. They don't pay their staff travel time and don't pay their staff as well as other platforms.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
