About

Life is full of challenges and if you have a disability, things can be that bit harder. Daily self-care and home chores can sometimes be tough, if not impossible. Often, families can’t provide you with the support you need because of all their own life’s challenges and commitments. Maybe you need help with meal preparation, or you need someone to take you to an appointment or do grocery shopping. Maybe you just want someone to sit and chat with and take the pressure off your loved ones. Whatever support you need, we are here to help you to live as independently as possible and make the most of each day. We understand that if you are living with a disability and need extra help in any way, the most important thing is to have a carer that can empathise with different situations. Our care staff are highly trained, compassionate and professional people who genuinely want to help improve other people’s lives. At 365 Care, we do our best to match you with a carer that you will feel comfortable with, that offers the support you need when you need it, and that has experience working with people with your disability. We want you to feel supported, both physically and emotionally. We want you to feel like you don’t have to avoid certain things because they are out of your physical capabilities. We want you to know that you are not alone, and that help is here.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
