About

At Billy Cart Behaviour, our name carries deep meaning — a tribute to two remarkable young lives who continue to inspire everything we do. The spirit behind Billy Cart comes from love, loss, and the joy of human connection. It honours Billy, a beautiful boy whose time here was brief but profoundly meaningful, and Ashton, a vibrant young person whose laughter lights up every room. Both have shaped the way we see the world: with compassion, determination, and a fierce belief in every person’s right to live fully, be seen, and be supported. Billy Cart Behaviour was created from this place of purpose. We exist to walk alongside individuals and their support networks — not just to manage behaviours, but to understand them, meet needs more effectively, and support growth that feels safe, affirming, and real. Our approach centres around Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) — but more than that, it centres around people. We don’t just write plans — we build partnerships, remove barriers, and help create environments where individuals can thrive in ways that are meaningful to them. Because at the heart of Billy Cart Behaviour is one simple truth: every person matters, and we’re here to make sure they feel it.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
