Services Psychosocial Recovery Coaching As recovery coaches, we dedicate our time to understanding your needs by spending quality time with you and your loved ones. We assist you in exploring different services and supports that can benefit you. We also provide guidance in accessing mental health services and offer support with navigating the NDIS. Short-Term Accommodation (STA) - Respite We provide respite services to participants, offering relief to families or carers. Caring for NDIS participants can often be overwhelming for carers. Respite can be arranged on weekdays, weekends, evenings, overnight stays, 24-hour support, and during holiday periods. Respite is an essential option for carers to take a well-deserved break, promoting their health and well-being. Additionally, evidence suggests that respite care provides a positive experience for the individuals receiving support. Community Participation Beyond Ability supports clients in actively engaging with the community and participating in social activities that align with their interests. We prioritize empowering participants to become active members of society and live life to the fullest. Our aim is to facilitate connections with family and friends within the community and encourage participation in community events and social activities. Adventure Therapy At Beyond Ability Support Services, we focus on boosting participants' confidence and well-being through new challenges and experiences in nature. Adventure therapy offers holistic support within outdoor environments such as rainforests, beaches, lakes, rivers, and national parks. By providing participants with opportunities to engage in nature-based challenges, adventures, and experiences, we enable them to break out of their comfort zones and discover their true capabilities beyond their perceived limitations. This process allows participants to acquire new skills and enhance their ability to navigate through life. Support Coordination Beyond Ability Support Services collaborates with you to understand your goals and maximize your day-to-day life with a disability or as a carer. We assist in managing your supports within your budget parameters, ensuring genuine choice and control. We address any issues or barriers that may arise, evaluating your service delivery in alignment with your existing funding supports. We achieve this through the cultivation of daily living and life skills, empowering participants to live as autonomously as possible. Our support can be offered on an individual basis and may include training in daily life activities, communication and social skills, and problem-solving. We focus on tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and household chores while empowering participants along the way.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

The first thing to check is your eligibility by visiting the following link: https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/am-i-eligible.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://support.kismet.healthcare/resource-hub/what-are-the-steps-in-the-ndis-process.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
