The first Care Support Worker that contacted me was professional, caring and knowledgeable about the support my Son required. An interview was set up quickly, but prior to services being able to be set up she was promoted.

I would not recommend this organisation. We require 24 hour care and our family member has been left without care several times and only at the last minute after much cajoling, have the shifts been filled. There are times when we have had to step in and fill shifts. After hours are not really interested in the predicament we are placed in at late notice, when shifts haven't been filled or workers cancel.

Communication not 100%. Support worker is about the same as as my son and is about as organised. The person in charge isn't easy to get hold of.

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

To learn more visit https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/am-i-eligible

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
