The modern apartments offer both quality and style boasting European stainless steel appliances, stone bench tops, separate laundries, ample storage and large balconies. These spacious open plan living apartments embody sophisticated flair. A landscaped alfresco area on the podium level provides residents with the perfect location to relax and unwind.

The single - level apartments will feature customisable kitchens, bathrooms and laundries, as well as wheelchair accessible private outdoor areas. Apartments are assistive technology ready and are capable of customisable home automation to meet individual needs. Apartments also feature an emergency power solution in the event of a power outage and structural provisions for the installation of ceiling hoists.

The design of the Liverty Housing apartments will exceed Livable Housing Australia's Platinum design level and meet High Physical Support design requirements under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). An On-site Shared Support provider will provide 24/7 on-site shared support service to tenants of the apartments.

Apartments will be enrolled with the NDIS as Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), 1 bedroom, 1 resident High Physical Support Apartments.

How much does it cost to live in these apartments?

The SDA funding in your NDIS plan will be paid to Summer Housing. In addition, you must pay a reasonable rent contribution, which is 25% of your Disability Support Pension, plus any Commonwealth Rent Assistance you receive.

Your questions, answered

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must be under the age of 65, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa, and have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to participate in everyday activities.

Your NDIS plan revolves around your personal life goals and aspirations. It is crafted based on the information you share during your planning session with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC). Within your plan, you will find a breakdown of the various supports required to help you reach your goals, along with the specific funding allocated to each support category.

Your NDIS plan is tailored to your needs and is reviewed regularly to ensure it continues to meet your changing circumstances and goals.

The NDIS can be difficult to navigate, it's important that you prepare and seek out assistance during your application process.

For more details, see our step by step guide by visting https://www.ndis.gov.au/applying-access-ndis/how-apply.

The NDIS requires service providers to register with them to allow for direct invoicing claims for NDIA-managed clients. However, not all providers opt for registration, meaning there could be a suitable unregistered provider out there that can offer you supports. Access to these unregistered providers is only available if you self-manage your funds or have a Plan Manager.
